Haku-un Gets It Done

If you buy no other incense this year, but one, make it "White Cloud." It's so satisfying.

Mellows nicely with age

I've been buying Shoyeido incense for years. After we moved I found a box of White Cloud that I had accidentally left in storage for two years. I liked it before, but it actually smells even better when aged. I don't have the patience to wait two years, but I've been trying to buy White Cloud ahead of time so I can allow it to sit for awhile before burning it.

My all time favourite incense

Since the late 1980's I have been using this incense. Shoyeido is the only incense I have burnt that doesn't just smell like smoke. Haki-un is tranquil , soft, sweet. It relieves stress. My all time favourite. I have not (and probably will never) use the premium incense $$$ but I love love love this.
